You can install Kofax Express 3.3.0 Fix Pack 11 to add support for new scanners or to resolve issues listed below.

To install Kofax Express 3.3.0 Fix Pack 11 successfully, an existing full installation of Kofax Express 3.3.0 is required.

Install this Fix Pack

Use one of the following methods to install the Fix Pack:

Interactive

  1. Verify that the following applications/services are not running.

    2. Note: For best results, install the Fix Pack during off-peak processing hours.

  2. Extract the contents of KofaxExpress-3.3.0.11.zip on the computer where Kofax Express 3.3.0 is installed.
  3. Double-click KofaxExpress-3.3.0.11.exe and follow the wizard prompts.
  4. When prompted that the installation is finished, click Finish.
  5. Restart any applications/services that were stopped prior to installing the Fix Pack.

Silent

  1. Verify that the following applications/services are not running.

    2. Note: For best results, install the Fix Pack during off-peak processing hours.

  2. Extract the contents of KofaxExpress-3.3.0.11.zip on the computer where Kofax Express 3.3.0 is installed.
  3. Open a Command Prompt window with administrator rights and change the working folder to the folder with the extracted contents of the KofaxExpress-3.3.0.11.zip file.
  4. Run the following command:

    KofaxExpress-3.3.0.11.exe /s /v"/qn"

  5. Restart any applications/services that were stopped prior to installing the Fix Pack.

Remove this Fix Pack

Use one of the following methods to remove the Fix Pack:

Interactive

  1. Verify that the following applications/services are not running.

    2. Note: For best results, remove the Fix Pack during off-peak processing hours.

  2. In Windows Control Panel, select Programs > Programs and Features > View installed updates.
  3. On the list of updates, in the Name column, select the item that corresponds to Kofax Express 3.3.0.11.
  4. Right-click and select Uninstall.
  5. Restart any applications/services that were stopped prior to removing the Fix Pack.

Silent

  1. Verify that the following applications/services are not running.

    2. Note: For best results, remove the Fix Pack during off-peak processing hours.

  2. Open a Command Prompt window with administrator rights.
  3. Run the following command:

    msiexec.exe /I{F26B4150-8FFB-41CD-8616-15CC68957C26} MSIPATCHREMOVE={7BD69A33-65B6-4B08-8FA5-8F80A7C7313D} /qn

  4. Restart any applications/services that were stopped prior to removing the Fix Pack.
