Install This Fix

Use the following procedure to install this Fix.

  1. Verify that Kofax Express 3.3.0 is not running.

    2. Note: For best results, install the Fix during off-peak processing hours.

  2. Navigate to one of the following paths, as applicable:
    [Installation Drive]:Program Files\Kofax\Kofax Express\bin
    [Installation Drive]:Program Files (x86)\Kofax\Kofax Express\bin
  3. Back up your existing barcode.kpm file: Make a copy of barcode.kpm and save it to a separate, safe location.
  4. Copy the barcode.kpm provided with this Fix to the path used in Step 2. Overwrite your existing version of barcode.kpm.

Remove this Fix

Use the following procedure to remove this Fix.

  1. Verify that Kofax Express 3.3.0 is not running.

    2. Note: For best results, remove the Fix during off-peak processing hours.

  2. Navigate to one of the following paths, as applicable:
    [Installation Drive]:Program Files\Kofax\Kofax Express\bin
    [Installation Drive]:Program Files (x86)\Kofax\Kofax Express\bin
  3. Copy the barcode.kpm backup file to the path used in the preceding step, and overwrite the newer version of the file.
